Supported Transitional Employment Programming (STEP) 

STEP gives adults with disabilities and other barriers the opportunity to work with a Goodwill Career Coach to develop job skills, pursue employment that matches abilities, and work in competitive and integrated work environment in the community.  

STEP includes the following programs and related services:

Skill Building 

• Transitional employment to help strengthen work-ready skills

Supported Employment 

• Job Readiness Activities
• On-the-Job Training
• Job Development/Job Placement
• Job Coaching 

Vocational Evaluation

Evaluations that are designed to identify a participant’s strengths and weaknesses, abilities, and interests.  May include both on the job evaluations in a real work setting, or a simulated work setting to evaluate a variety of skillsets.
