Free Tax Help With Goodwill’s VITA Program
The Goodwill VITA program provides free tax preparation services for qualifying low-to-moderate income individuals and families. Certified volunteer preparers help filers maximize returns through state and federal tax credits such as Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and others. The program serves Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana counties.
Tax Service Options:
In-Person
Bring your tax documents to have your taxes prepared and e-filed before you leave. Call 2-1-1 to set up an appointment.
Scan N Go
Come in and have your tax documents scanned during your 20-minute scheduled appointment. Our volunteers will complete and electronically file tax returns for you. Call 2-1-1 to set up an appointment.
File Online
File your own taxes from home with the easy-to-use, FREE online tax program. No appointment needed. Call or email for assistance. Visit MyFreeTaxes.com.
