Learn and develop effective forklift safety and operation skills, resulting in a forklift operator certification. Gain experience on a variety of trucks, including electric and gas, stand up and sit down operation, and basic pallet jacks. Course format includes classroom as well as hands-on activities to enhance learning and increase understanding of concepts. Students will be evaluated throughout the course to ensure concepts are being learned and retained for transfer to the workplace. This course will also support job launch activities including resume writing, job search, interview prep, job retention, and basic budgeting.
