Years of Service: 9
When we asked Lavinia how many years she’s been with Goodwill, she laughed and said, “I don’t know. I’ve lost track… maybe 6 or 7!” We confirmed that it has, in fact, been exactly 9 years! Prior to working for Goodwill Industries of West Michigan, Lavinia spent 15 years in janitorial services at Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana. We are so thankful Lavinia decided to move to West Michigan and join our team.

Lavinia shared a few words of wisdom with us: “YOU GOT THIS!” When asked what her favorite part about working here is, she replied, “The environment and the people.”

A few fun facts about Lavinia:

When she’s not at work, Lavinia loves being at home with her five goldfish and watching TV. Her favorite show right now is Run’s House, a reality series that chronicles the family life of former Run-DMC rapper Rev Run. Her guilty pleasure is eating steak with a baked potato and a side salad. She said the baked potato has to have salt, pepper, and butter on it!
